research

Showcasing Two Urban Development Research Projects, these two research projects focus on the urban development of distinct sites, each with unique challenges and objectives.

3D Modular Urban Planning

This project utilizes code translated into 3D modules to enhance the planning and development of both existing and new cities. By leveraging computational design, it aims to achieve an ideal balance between people and the built environment. The approach promotes flexible, adaptive planning to improve urban livability, optimize land use, and enhance public spaces, offering a scalable framework for diverse urban landscapes.

Redevelopment of a Former Manufacturing Site

The second project addresses an existing site previously used for small-scale manufacturing, where certain trades have diminished over time, leaving gritty, underutilized areas. The proposed design introduces mixed-use developments, including educational and residential spaces, and new built volumes. By connecting the site to its surroundings and integrating diverse functions, this project seeks to create a vibrant gathering place that blends historical elements with modern needs, fostering community building and a sense of belonging for people from different cultures and backgrounds.
